The traditional Kandyan (Osaria) style consists of a full blouse which covers the midriff completely, and is partially tucked in at the front as is seen in this 19th century portrait. However, modern intermingling of styles has led to most wearers baring the midriff. The final tail of the sari is neatly pleated rather than free-flowing.
Sari is one of the oldest garments in Sri Lanka which is still surviving in modern world. It was the preference of most womens in the past and is still preferred today.I think Sri Lankan womens are more attractive to sari's than any other garments.

I always think Sri Lankan girls are pretty for sari.
